Adlas, Silang, Cavite – February 2025 — In celebration of National Arts Month, Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. held a series of engaging and colorful activities that highlighted the artistic gifts of its students, fostering creativity, appreciation for the arts, and school spirit.

The celebration began with Arts Day on February 14, 2025, held at the school gymnasium. Selected students across all grade levels participated in various contests designed to showcase their talents in both visual and performing arts. Competitions included Tawag ng Tanghalan (singing contest) for all grade levels, doodle making for Grade 8, poster making for Grade 7, charcoal drawing for Grade 9, and coffee painting for Grade 10. Each contest reflected students’ creativity, originality, and passion for the arts. The event provided a platform for self-expression and healthy competition, with winners receiving recognition during the culminating program.

The celebration concluded with the Arts Month Culminating Program on February 28, 2025, led by the MAPEH Department and held once again at the school gymnasium. Attended by all students and teachers, the hour-and-a-half program opened with a prayer led by SMS PACE, followed by a warm welcome message from Mr. Rondina, the Subject Area Coordinator for MAPEH.

The highlight of the event was the OPM Dance Competition, where students from different grade levels took the stage with dynamic and creative performances inspired by Original Pilipino Music. The vibrant routines drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience and underscored the students’ dedication and talent in the performing arts.

After the performances, winners of the OPM Dance Competition and the various contests from Arts Day were awarded. The culmination served as a fitting end to a month-long celebration of creativity, collaboration, and cultural pride.

The school community applauds the efforts of the MAPEH Department, the participants, and everyone involved in making Arts Month 2025 a memorable and meaningful celebration.
