Grade 7 Convocation Program: Welcoming New Aloysians
Adlas | Welcome Program
On June 13, 2025, the Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. held the Grade 7 Convocation Program, also known as the Welcome Program, at the school gymnasium. Organized by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), the event officially welcomed the new Grade 7 students into the Aloysian community with a day of fun, performances, and inspiration.
The program opened with a prayer and a roll call of all Grade 7 sections along with their advisers. SSLG Vice President, Mr. Ruedas, delivered the opening remarks, setting an enthusiastic and uplifting tone for the day. Students then participated in a lively Zumba session, which energized the atmosphere and brought everyone together in movement and cheer.
Performing clubs also showcased their talents, with the school choir filling the venue with harmony, the rondalla presenting a rich display of musical artistry, and the dance troupe delivering a vibrant and well-applauded performance. A highlight of the event was the Yell Competition, where each section proudly displayed creativity and team spirit, earning cheers and applause from their peers.
The excitement continued with engaging parlor games, followed by the awarding of winners. Senior students also shared heartfelt messages of encouragement and advice, extending a warm welcome to their younger schoolmates. The program concluded with a group photo opportunity, capturing the joy and spirit of the occasion.
The Grade 7 Convocation Program successfully fostered a welcoming atmosphere, leaving the new Aloysians inspired, connected, and ready to begin their high school journey.
