On August 22, 2019, the Sisters of Mary Girlstown was inaugurated in the Pwani Region of Tanzania, East Africa. This marked the expansion of the Sisters of Mary’s mission to the African continent. On September 21, 2023, the Sisters of Mary further extended their reach by opening a Boystown in Dodoma, Tanzania. Currently, the Kisarawe Girlstown, the Day Care Center, the Training Center, and Dodoma Boystown are taking care of 1,351 students.
