The schools grew from the mission of the Sisters of Mary congregation, founded by Aloysius Schwartz in Busan, South Korea, in 1964. They provide free education and care for children from impoverished families.

The Sisters of Mary Schools serve children from impoverished and disadvantaged communities. Their work combines education, care and vocational preparation. Visit the country and program pages to learn about individual campuses.
What could my support help sustain?

Can a foundation or company explore a partnership?
Yes, you can contact the schools to discuss your organization’s interests. Introduce your foundation or company, the type of support you are considering and any application or reporting requirements. Any partnership arrangements need to be agreed with the appropriate school or donor organization.
How can I give from another country?
Start with the donor organizations linked on our Donors page, or contact the schools for guidance. Confirm the receiving organization, available payment methods and any conditions directly with that organization before giving.
Will I receive a receipt or a tax deduction?
Ask the organization receiving your donation about receipts and any applicable tax arrangements. These depend on the recipient and your circumstances; this website does not promise tax deductibility in any country.
Can I request financial reports, impact information or a project budget?
Contact the team and describe the information you need to evaluate a potential gift. Ask which current reports and documents are available and whether a proposal can be prepared for the area you wish to support.
Can I discuss a gift in my will or another form of giving?
Contact the relevant donor organization to ask whether it can accept your proposed type of gift and to confirm the correct legal recipient and process. Obtain appropriate professional advice before putting arrangements in place.
Is there a minimum amount for a major gift?
