On September 12, 1990, the Sisters of Mary ‘s missionary work in Mexico began. On October 7, 1991, the Boystown and Girlstown were established in Chalco, Mexico, to support underprivileged children. On April 8, 2007, their services expanded: a Day Care Center was opened. Currently, the Chalco Girlstown, Day Care, and Guadalajara Boystown are taking care of 4,403 children.
