December 12, 2024—The Sisters of Mary of Banneux, Inc. (SMBI) celebrated the spirit of Christmas and the power of language during the 2024 English Festival. With the theme "Unlocking the Power of Words: Inspire, Connect, Empower," the event showcased a blend of creativity, talent, and holiday cheer.

The highlight of the festival was the Christmas Presentation - Faculty Competition, where SMBI teachers lit up the stage with heartfelt performances. The MAPEH Department claimed the top prize with their imaginative, Inside Out-inspired act, leaving the audience awestruck. Meanwhile, the TVET and Mathematics Departments secured second and third places, respectively, with their own captivating presentations.

The day began with an awards ceremony recognizing student achievements in various contests. The event also featured performances from contest champions and Teacher Aides, further amplifying the celebratory mood.

The 2024 English Festival was a vibrant celebration of creativity and collaboration, reminding everyone of the joy and unity the Christmas season brings.
