SMBI conducts 2nd Quarter Nationwide Earthquake Drill

CAVITE, PHILIPPINES - Sisters of Mary of Banneux, Inc. successfully participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18, 2026, as part of its continuing commitment to safeguard the welfare of its students, teachers, Sisters, staff, and personnel.
The drill was conducted to ensure that every member of the school community remains calm, prepared, and informed during earthquake-related emergencies. Students were properly guided in performing the Duck, Cover, and Hold procedure and were led through an orderly evacuation to their designated assembly areas.
More than a routine activity, the earthquake drill served as a meaningful reminder that preparedness brings confidence and safety. Through regular practice, clear guidance, and the cooperation of the whole school community, Sisters of Mary of Banneux, Inc. continues to provide a safe and supportive environment where students are protected and cared for.
With the support of the school administration and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Team, the institution remains committed to strengthening a culture of preparedness, vigilance, and resilience for the safety of all.
