From May to June, the Sisters of Mary School Tanzania participated in the UMISETA 2025 competitions, progressing from ward to national level and earning recognition across the Pwani Region for their performance.
The competition began on May 9 at Kiluvya Ward's Super City Ground. It advanced to the district level on May 25 - 27 at Minaki Secondary School. Regional matches were held from June 1 - 4 at Kibaha Secondary School. National-level games are scheduled for June 19 - 29 in Iringa Region.
Sisters of Mary School athletes participated in football, handball, running, and choir at the ward level. At the District level, they joined seven sports and advanced in all categories as the champions of six events. They led the Kisarawe teams in football, basketball, and volleyball at the Regional level. Kisarawe District won 12 trophies and was named the Overall Regional Winner.
Top students like Gisela Eustace and Emma Msanya, with 10 other selected athletes, will join the national teams to compete in Iringa for a chance to reach the East African games.
