January 2024—The Sisters of Mary Schools proudly celebrate the outstanding achievement of students Niña Joy Roble and Yanna Jean Nuñez, who clinched 2nd place in the Eco-Einstein Competition at the prestigious Sri Aman Environmental and English Youth Leadership Summit (SAEYLS) 2024 held in Malaysia.
The Eco-Einstein Competition is a highlight of SAEYLS, challenging participants to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and commitment to addressing environmental issues. Niña and Yanna’s stellar performance reflects not only their deep understanding of environmental science but also their dedication to creating meaningful solutions for a sustainable future.
Their success was made possible through the unwavering support of their mentors. Mrs. Analiza M. Zulueta, the teacher-in-charge, provided expert guidance throughout the competition, while Sr. Zeny Gaviola, the sister-in-charge, offered constant encouragement and moral support.
"This achievement is a testament to the hard work and passion of our students and the collaborative effort of the entire school community," shared Mrs. Zulueta.
The SAEYLS 2024, hosted by SMK (P) Sri Aman in Malaysia, brought together young leaders from across the region to engage in discussions and competitions centered on environmental stewardship and leadership in English.
The Sisters of Mary Schools extend their heartfelt congratulations to Niña and Yanna for their remarkable accomplishment. Their victory serves as an inspiration to the school community to continue striving for excellence and making a positive impact on the world.
