This heartfelt message from emcee Skylark Fjord Dequito welcomed the benefactors as they were escorted by the Drum and Lyre to the gymnasium, where loud cheers and applause filled the venue.

The Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Inc. warmly received visitors and benefactors from Davao on January 28, marking a meaningful day of celebration and gratitude.

The program featured a series of performances from the students. It began with the SMS Handbell Ringers, followed by the Aloysians Dance Troupe (ADT), the SMS Rondalla, and the Grade 8 Cultural Dancers.

Students from Sisters of Mary School-Girlstown in Talisay also showcased their talents through a special presentation.

The performances continued with the Aloysians Fully Alive Dancers and the Orchestra Musical Ensemble. To conclude the segment, all performers came together for a lively dance to the song “I’m Glad You Came.”

After the presentations, one of the visitors delivered an emotional message, expressing deep appreciation for the warm welcome. She shared how overwhelmed she felt, noting that the experience moved her to tears and reminded her that the students are truly cared for and not forgotten.

The audience then responded with their own performances titled “I Just Wanna Say Thank You” and “May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You,” further emphasizing the spirit of gratitude and unity.

The program concluded with a photo opportunity between the students and the visitors, capturing the memorable occasion.

Following the event, several benefactors expressed their intention to establish a similar institution in Mindanao, inspired by the mission and impact of the school.
