The TLE/TVET teachers participated in a TVET Benchmarking activity on October 30, 2025, aimed at strengthening the school’s vocational and technical education curriculum. A total of 22 teachers took part in the activity, reflecting the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and industry-aligned instruction.
The morning session was held at the Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC), where participants attended an orientation and toured key facilities. These included the Machine Shop, Welding Area, and Auto Parts Testing Laboratory, giving teachers firsthand exposure to industry standards and practices. The visit concluded with the completion of an evaluation survey.
In the afternoon, the benchmarking activity continued at the TESDA Regional Training Center–NCR. Teachers explored various technical and vocational programs, such as Mechatronics Servicing, Small Engine (Automotive), Photovoltaic System Installation, Domestic Refrigeration and Airconditioning, Commercial Refrigeration and Airconditioning, and the VR–AR Welding Simulator.
The benchmarking activity provided valuable insights into current industry trends and training methodologies. It is expected to further enhance the delivery of TLE/TVET programs and ensure that students are equipped with relevant, practical, and future-ready skills.
