The Sisters of Mary School–Girlstown, Inc. (SMSGI) gathered Grades 7 to 11 at Gymnasium 2 for the Culminating Program of Intramurals and Nutrition Month, a festive celebration of athletic spirit, healthy living, and Marian sisterhood.
The event highlighted not only the skills of young athletes but also the importance of wellness and balanced living. Among the featured competitions was the Miss Fitspiration Contest, which encouraged students to embrace fitness through regular exercise and a healthy diet. Contestants inspired their peers by showing that true beauty and confidence come from discipline, strength, and self-care.
Adding excitement to the program was the SportSayaw Competition, where teams combined sports-inspired movements with creative dance routines. The performances filled the gym with energy, showcasing the students’ creativity, teamwork, and passion for an active lifestyle.
The culmination also celebrated the champions of the intramurals, recognizing not only their victories but also the values of discipline, unity, and perseverance that all participants demonstrated. Equally, the Nutrition Month activities served as a reminder of the importance of making healthy choices every day.
In the closing message, the school emphasized that the culmination was more than an ending—it was an invitation to live out a lifestyle of health, confidence, and empowerment. Through sports, fitness, and good nutrition, Marian students are called to strengthen both body and character as they grow in faith and service.
The Intramurals and Nutrition Month Culmination truly embodied the Marian way of life: a joyful celebration of body, mind, and spirit.
