A Joyful Beginning: SMSGI Holds Grade 7 Convocation

July 23, 2025 (Talisay Campus) – With joy and excitement in the air, the Sisters of Mary School–Girlstown, Inc. (SMSGI) officially welcomed its new Grade 7 students through a vibrant and spirit-filled Convocation Program.
The morning celebration featured a variety of activities that showcased the students’ talents and enthusiasm. Among the highlights was the Miss Marian Virtue 2025 pageant, where Grade 7 students displayed grace, confidence, and Marian values. Creativity and teamwork shone during the Banner Making and Cheering Competitions, as the new students proudly expressed their school spirit and camaraderie.
In the afternoon, the atmosphere grew even livelier as SSLG officers led exciting games, filling the venue with laughter and joy. To the students’ delight, the Grade 7 teachers surprised everyone with a special performance, adding a memorable touch to the day’s festivities.
Beyond the fun and competitions, the Convocation carried a deeper purpose: to mark the beginning of the students’ shared journey of faith, friendship, and formation at SMSGI. It served as both a welcome and a reminder that each Grade 7 student is now part of a nurturing community rooted in discipline, compassion, and service.
The Grade 7 Convocation was more than a celebration—it was a joyful beginning, setting the tone for the students’ growth in knowledge, character, and love for God and others.
