Adlas | Fire and Earthquake Drills

The school conducted another Fire and Earthquake Drill on July 15, 2025, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) from Silang, Cavite. The activity began with a seminar held at the school gymnasium and attended by all students, teachers, sisters, and non-teaching personnel. The BFP officers discussed the importance of fire and earthquake preparedness, proper evacuation procedures, and the correct use of fire extinguishers. They also shared real-life situations to help participants understand how to respond calmly and safely during emergencies.

After the seminar, the actual drill took place. When the alarm sounded, everyone was in “Drop, Cover, and Hold” position, following the protocols discussed. Selected students, teachers, and sisters were given hands-on training on how to properly operate a fire extinguisher under the guidance of the BFP officers. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster awareness, promote quick and safe response during emergencies, and equip the school community with basic life-saving skills.
