On July 8 and 10, 2025, the Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. conducted its 2nd Quarter Fire and Earthquake Drills to strengthen preparedness and ensure the safety of students and staff during emergencies. The drills formed part of the school’s commitment to disaster risk reduction and the promotion of a culture of safety within the community.

During the earthquake drill, students practiced the “Drop, Cover, and Hold” technique and evacuated calmly toward the designated open area. The activity emphasized the importance of quick but orderly response during seismic events. Meanwhile, in the fire drill, students exited classrooms promptly after the alarm sounded and participated in demonstrations on the proper use of fire extinguishers and responses to fire-related incidents.

These drills served as practical training exercises, equipping the school community with essential knowledge on evacuation procedures and emergency response. They also helped improve coordination among students, teachers, and safety teams, ensuring readiness for real-life situations.

Through activities like these, the Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. continues to uphold its commitment to fostering awareness, discipline, and preparedness, making safety a shared responsibility for all.
