May 22, 2025 - The Sisters of Mary School Tanzania held its First Advance Level Graduation Ceremony in Makurunge, Kisarawe District, marking a milestone as the graduates begin their new journey.

The program began with a procession led by the Sisters of Mary School Scouts. Graduates were joined by the faculty members, Sisters, school administrators, and distinguished guests.

The 107 graduates were presented and officially confirmed by Ms. Naomi Francis, the School Headmistress.

During the program, special awards, academic awards, and technical skills awards were given to the students who performed outstandingly in different areas. Ajizi Juma Kibure was awarded as the top performing graduate for her excellence in both academic and technical skills.

Present at the event are Hon. Seong Gyeong Kim, Consul of the Republic of Korea to Tanzania, Dr. Ave Maria Semakafu, the country coordinator for the Tanzania Women Cross-Party, Ms. Caroline Duclert, Sr. Merry Jane P. Talines, SM, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the school Local Superior, Rev. Fr. Adam Bago, CSSP, the school board president, and other honoured guests, friends and priests who had joined the celebration.

The Words of Gratitude were delivered by Ajizi Juma Kibure, representing their batch as the top performing graduate. She shared meaningful memories and highlighted a heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported them in reaching their milestone.

The graduates made their Pledge of Loyalty to the school, led by Adelphina Emmanuel Augustine, the recipient of the Loyalty Award, in the presence of the school administrators and Sisters.

The event concluded with the Alma Mater song sung by the graduates.

Congratulations, 1st Batch Graduates - Class of 2025! As your journey begins, may you carry the school values of truth, service, and excellence into the world.
