SMBI Celebrates 8th SHS Commencement Exercises

CAVITE, PHILIPPINES - Sisters of Mary of Banneux, Inc. held its 8th Senior High School Commencement Exercises for Academic Year 2024–2025 yesterday at the school gymnasium last April 8, 2025.
The program began with a Holy Mass led by His Excellency Most Rev. Reynaldo G. Evangelista, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Imus. The commencement ceremony followed, attended by key figures from government and partner institutions, including Senator Risa Hontiveros who delivered her Inspirational Message and Department of Education Secretary himself, Honorable Sec. Sonny Angara as the Guest Speaker.
Mr. Vergel V. Abalos and Mrs. Rosalie F. Caseria served as the masters of Ceremony.
Awards were presented for Academic Excellence and Technical Excellence in various TESDA National Certifications qualifications, and Outstanding Performance in Work Immersion. Special awards were also given for excellence in sports, performing arts, academic clubs, campus journalism, and other interest club participation.
Guests from the SM Foundation, partner industries and other private organizations served as award presenters and extended their congratulations to the graduates.
Before the program concluded with the graduates' Pledge of Loyalty and graduation song, Ms. Hannah Jhoy P. Abellon, the top student of the batch, delivered her graduation speech.
