The faculty and students of the Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Inc. held their annual induction and oath-taking ceremony on February 21, 2026, at the school gymnasium to formally recognize and install the newly elected leaders of various clubs.
The ceremony commenced with a parade of clubs, followed by a doxology and the singing of the Philippine national anthem.
School Activity Coordinator Mrs. Mary Jane Marzon-Parilla delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the essence of servant leadership.
“Leadership is not about title; it is about humility, integrity, and serving others,” she stressed.
Club leaders were then announced by cluster by their respective moderators. These included the Sports Club, Performing Arts Club, Socio-Civic Club, Student Leadership and Mentorship Club, Religious Club, Academic Club, Tech-Voc Club, and Media and Communication Club.
The highlight of the event was the induction and oath-taking ceremony led by SSLG President Lysander M. Casas, where newly elected leaders pledged to uphold the institution’s bylaws and responsibilities.
Adding energy to the program, the Aloysian Dance Troupe delivered an engaging intermission performance.
To inspire the newly inducted leaders, SSLG Vice President Josh Russel Omandam shared words of encouragement, underscoring the true meaning of leadership.
“Leadership is not a position, but an action for the betterment of the institution,” he emphasized.
A representative from the 32nd batch, Josh Andrew Gargaceran, also delivered an acceptance speech on behalf of the new set of leaders.

During the ceremony, Mrs. Marzon-Parilla also announced the winners of the Provincial and Cultural Meet.
The awarding of winners for the Logo Making Contest per cluster followed. In the Sports Club cluster, the Aloysian Smashers (Badminton Club) placed second, the Chess Club secured first place, and the Aloysian Trackers emerged as champions.
For the Performing Arts, Religious, and Socio-Civic clusters, the Bible Quizzers ranked second, the Legion of Mary placed first, and the CAT (Citizenship Advancement Training) was declared champion.
Meanwhile, in the Academic, Tech-Voc, and Media and Communication clusters, Bahandi (AP) placed second, Al’s Pastry secured first place, and Arts Catalyst garnered the highest honor.
The ceremony concluded with a closing prayer led by Ms. Gonzales.
