On January 10, 2026, 300 first-year students were welcomed, coming from all departments of Guatemala. In mid-2025, the Sisters of Mary traveled throughout the country, visiting even the most remote areas and families with limited resources, to share information about the program and allow children to take the admission exam.

After a selection process, the children who applied for the scholarship were chosen, and after several months of waiting, they arrived at our facilities accompanied by their families. On that day, they underwent a medical examination, their records were reviewed, and they were assigned to their families, thus marking the beginning of a new stage in their personal and academic lives.

It is deeply rewarding to see the parents’ faces, filled with hope, knowing that this opportunity will transform their children’s lives.
