SILANG, CAVITE — The Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. showcased outstanding athletic prowess during the Municipal Meet 2025 held on September 11–12, 2025, across multiple venues including the Sisters of Mary School–Banneux, Inc., the Silang Badminton Center, and Bulihan Integrated National High School.
Demonstrating excellence in various sporting events, the school garnered an impressive total of 15 Gold, 12 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals, reflecting the Aloysian values of discipline, determination, and excellence. The remarkable medal haul once again positioned the school as a strong contender in the municipal sports arena.
In Athletics, the school’s athletes dominated sprint, hurdles, throws, jumps, and walkathon events, earning medals in all categories and securing qualification slots for the Division Meet. This achievement was credited to the dedicated training and mentorship of coaches Mr. Rodolfo Jr. B. Binasbas and Mr. Justine Embile, whose guidance propelled the team to success.
Team sports also proved fruitful for the school. The Football team emerged victorious under the strategic leadership of coaches Mr. Aldoune Jude Añar and Mr. Regin Ian Llamoso. Meanwhile, the Sepak Takraw team, coached by Mr. John Kenneth Ocfemia, impressed with their teamwork and skill, earning advancement to the East Cavite Sports Unit (ECSU) games for the Division Meet.
Strong performances were likewise recorded in individual sports. The Badminton team, led by Mr. Aaron James Rondina, achieved top finishes, while the Table Tennis team, under the guidance of Ms. Micaela Alegra, clinched Gold medals and secured qualification for the next round. In Taekwondo, athletes trained by Mr. Mark Josua Roma delivered winning performances, and in Chess, Begino, coached by Mr. Dindo Perez, earned a Silver medal and a spot in the Division Meet.
The Volleyball teams also made their mark, displaying resilience and teamwork throughout the competition under the mentorship of Mr. Emilcent Louie Lara and Mr. John Alfred L. Daño, exemplifying the sportsmanship promoted by the Municipal Meet.
The strong showing of the Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. at the Municipal Meet 2025 highlighted not only the athletes’ talent and perseverance but also the unwavering dedication of their coaches. Carrying the school banner with pride, the team now looks forward to greater challenges and continued success at the Division Meet.
