MINGLANILLA, Cebu— The Sisters of Mary welcomed the month with pride and celebration, as two students claimed the top podium of the ๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—˜๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜‡๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ ๐——๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—น at the Vito Elementary School of Brgy. Vito, Minglanilla, Cebu on February 2, Monday.
 
Motivated and prepared, ๐—๐—ผ๐—ต๐—ป ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—š. ๐—๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ผ, a Senior High school student, and ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ. ๐—–๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—น, a Junior High school student, competed in the event with their coach, ๐— ๐—ฟ. ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ผ ๐—”๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ผ.
 
In the STEMazing contest, the teams of two are to answer questions and/or accomplish tasks in a set of ten stations, gaining points from every check or accomplishment.
 
Stations 1 to 8 are characterized to be a contest of scientific knowledge and mathematical skills acquired mostly from the JHS modules and competencies.
 
While in the last two, the battle is research-based, a Scientific Investigation Program (SIP) done on station 9, proposed and defended on station 10.
 
Battling for the title, schools from the district of Minglanilla 1 sent their most fitted duo. The competition was a clash of seven institutions, namely: Cadulawan Integrated School, Vito National High School, Minglanilla Science HS, Tungkil NHS, Tungkop NHS, Tulay NHS, and Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Inc.
 
Winning, the first placer went on to compete in the next event, the STEMazing 2026 Division Level, held two days after, on February 4 at the San Fernando Central Elementary School of the Municipality of San Fernando.
